Accessibility Notice

The San Antonio Philharmonic is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming experience for all patrons.

Due to the historic nature of the Scottish Rite Cathedral, and in accordance with the Office of Historic Preservation, our venue is ADA compliant. However, the main concert hall is not currently wheelchair accessible, as access requires ascending a flight of stairs. We are actively working on improvements and are currently in construction planning for a new elevator that will provide full accessibility to the performance hall in the near future.

For guests using wheelchairs or with limited mobility:

  • Our ballroom is wheelchair accessible, and live streaming of the performance may be available from this location depending on the concert.
  • To arrange accommodations, please contact us in advance at hello@saphil.org so we can ensure the best experience possible.

Regarding ADA seating:

  • While ADA-designated seats are not sold separately online, we reserve accessible seating at every performance for patrons with mobility needs.
  • These seats are available with the purchase of a standard concert ticket.
  • We recommend contacting us before the concert to coordinate seating, though assistance is always available at the Box Office on the day of the show.

If you have any questions or accessibility needs, please reach out to us at hello@saphil.org. We are happy to help you plan your visit and make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
